Designer: Abdulla Mohamed Al Maainah

Symbolism: The flag consists of four colors: red, green, white, and black. These colors represent Arab unity and are known as the Pan-Arab colors. Red represents bravery and strength, green stands for hope, joy, and love, white symbolizes peace and honesty, and black represents the defeat of enemies.

  • Hanging protocol: The flag is typically hung horizontally with the red vertical stripe on the hoist side (left), and the green, white, and black horizontal stripes from top to bottom.
