Symbolism: The flag consists of three horizontal stripes of red, white, and black, with the Eagle of Saladin in the center. The red symbolizes the struggle against oppression, the white represents peace, and the black stands for the end of colonialism. The Eagle of Saladin is a symbol of Arab nationalism.
